Meditation 101
with Christina Huntington

In this course, you will learn proper introductory meditation techniques while unlocking the blocks that most often get in the way: all that noisy distraction in our own heads. You will learn how to understand your thoughts, feelings and created identity, in order to still your mind and let your truest self emerge, easily paving the way for a much deeper and self-sustainable meditation practice. Classes will include guided meditation, instruction and discussion and are handled with good humor and care, always encouraging a spirit of gentleness and self-compassion for the journey. Experience YOU: Introduction to Vipassana Meditation
with Peter Kenney

Vipassana means “to see things as they really are.” In this course, you will learn how to build a practice of Vipassana (Insight) Meditation, which will allow you to step back and witness your Self as you truly are, beyond the distractions and fluctuations of the mind and body. As Peter intuitively guides you through your own personal process of discovery, you will begin to identify the deep rooted patterns and beliefs that are causing any suffering or dis-ease in your life so that you can release them and experience the present moment with more joy, ease and awareness. You will learn how to cultivate the quality of neutrality and discover a lasting happiness that is not reliant on other people, places or things but that resides deep within your own being. This course will incorporate meditation instruction, guided conversations, and energy healing.

Mindful Parenting
with Wendi Cohen

This 4 week course has been designed and curated specifically for parents and caregivers. Each class will offer you a fresh perspective using mindfulness-based techniques and strategies that will help you manage the stress and anxiety of raising kids.  During this course, we will look at  self care, how we communicate, ways of letting go of perfection and embracing it all- the good, the bad, and the scary as a parent.  At the end of the 4 weeks, you will be equipped with tools to help you slow down and feel more grounded, mindful and present, so you will respond (not react) to your children with patience and compassion. Our topics and practices will be relevant for parents with kids of all ages, and each class will include group discussions, a guided meditation and home practices.  Space is limited to 15 people to allow for an intimate small group experience.
