Adolescence is one of the most tremendous stages for brain growth and change—second only to the early years (0-3)—in terms of neuroplasticity. This is the stage where the brain remodels itself in preparation for "hard-wiring". It's during our adolescence that we forge our identities and our sense of purpose and place in the world. This teen and tween class offer applicable tools and practices to help adolescents maximize the vast potential of their oh-so-malleable brains!

Learn the essential building blocks to begin a meditation practice, along with helpful stress relief, focusing and relaxation tools that can be used throughout the day. This class keeps it simple and straightforward, while having fun along the way.

Learn the essential building blocks to begin a meditation practice, along with helpful tools that can be used throughout the day. You have so much going on! Come and learn how to stay focused on what's important and let go of the things stressing you out.

 

GUIDED VISUALIZATION

(Middle School)

In this class we offer a powerful guided meditation practice directing the imagination to relax mind and body. The tools learned will empower pre teen/ tweens far beyond the classroom to relieve stress, clear the mind, help to focus and build self esteem.
